Happy New Year!

Hi!

Here it is-- a new year, and a new blog---I wonder how many blogs start out at the beginning of the year, and then never come about? I did not intend to start a blog as a new year "resolution". I just needed a creative outlet for the plethora of creative things dancing around in my head. There is lots! And I need to share with everyone!

So a little introduction about me would be nice, right? I am Michelle. Wife, mother, makeup artist, sister, daughter, lover of fashion and makeup and all things yummy, vintage, funky, feathery, bubbly, sparkly, shiny, blingy and furry! In my blog I will be reviewing makeup products I come across, sharing makeup techniques, and any fun fashion trends I have discovered. But I won't stop there! I will share stories or funny events, or funny anythings! I will show you projects I am doing or want to do! I just hope to bring a smile to your face, and maybe lead you to go out and discover something new!

So I hope that you have as much fun reading my blog as I am going to making it:) And if my blog becomes something extraordinary, awesome, if not, no biggy! I hope to reach out to even just 1 person to share all of this energy and fun I have brewing:)

Well happy reading, and a happy new year! I hope that 2012 you get inspired! And maybe I can help you with that.

Kisses, Hugs :)

  1. Michelle Im so excited about your blog! Im a dope when it comes to makeup, so I cant wait to read more. One thing Id love to know about is lipstick. I cant seem to get it to stay on my lips. Is there a lip primer or a better lipstick to use?? You are great!

  2. Hi Maggie!! Yay! You are officially my first comment:) I was wondering if my comment section even worked lol I am so happy to have started this for all of my friends and soon-to-be friends out there that are curious about the world of makeup. I am glad you asked about lipstick. I am actually have a new found love for it. I have not tried any primers yet though, but I will research products and try some out. I have had luck with a lipstick made by Revlon though. I was impressed. That lipstick I am wearing in my profile pic---it was awesome. It stayed on a really long time. All I did before I put it on was apply chapstick, then a lip liner that matched the red, and then I put my lipstick on. It was called Revlon Super Lustrous - Creme Lipstick, Color: Fire & Ice. I think I only reapplied 1 or 2 times. Both becuase of after meals. But it didn't feather, or budge. Or come of onto my teeth:) I will do post about lipstick for sure! But that is my long answer for you! :) Thank you for reading!!
